Our Rehearsal Dinner Tips:

Remember girls, Absolutely Fabulous Weddings is an event company that can not only coordinate and plan your actual wedding day but we can assist you with planning your rehearsal dinner too. Depending on the guest list and budget, this event can be anything from a formal banquet to a casual beach picnic. Here are some great tips for making your rehearsal dinner just as special as your wedding day.
WHO SHOULD WE INVITE?
Only those who will actually take part in the rehearsal -- the bride and groom, their parents, the officiant, the wedding party -- plus their spouses or dates, need to be invited to the rehearsal and the dinner that follows. Many couples invite their out-of-town guests as well, making the dinner into a welcoming party.
THEME...
This dinner should compliment the wedding but avoid duplications in theme, menu, floral arrangements and color scheme. Aim to create an informal and relaxed environment. If Jamaica is your honeymoon destination, for example, a great caribbean restaurant would be fitting.
WHAT HAPPENS?
Encourange toasts! Displaying photo albums, framed pictures or setting up a slide show of the bride and groom, is a great personal touch.
~~~ Mingle your guests. The dinner is a great opportuniy for both of your families to get better acquainted before the wedding day.
