Wedding Stationery ~ The Components: A Checklist

Your wedding stationery pieces - from maps to menu cards, not only allow you to communicate with your guests but also serve as a great way to set your theme.
Before you place your stationery order, decide what elements you really need with these useful tips:
Save-The-Date Cards: Particularly useful if your your guests have to travel far or if you are marrying on a holiday weekend.
Invitations: Yes always, even for an informal wedding.
Inner Invelope: No, though it's customary for a formal wedding.
R.S.V.P. Card: It's a good idea; it will help with keeping track of responses.
Pew Card: Given to those whose seats are reserved for a church wedding.
Tissue: No.
Direction Card, Map, and Travel Info: Helpful for out of town guests. Include hotel options, airline and car rental info.
Schedule of Activities: Skip this unless you are having a destination wedding.
Program: Not a must but it let's guests follow the ceremony and formally honors its participants.
Seating Card/Place Card: Used for formal meals, either seated or buffet for more than 20 guests.
Table Sign: Needed for receptions with more than a handful of tables.
Menu Card: A bride on a budget can forgo these, particularly if its a casual affair or a simple menu, its a nice keepsake though.
Favor Tags: No, but they do serve as a nice finishing touch.
Thank-You Card: Always essential.
