Holiday Drink Recipe of the Day: Drink 1

This time of year is so exciting to me and I am so fortunate to be have great friends and family to decorate and entertain with for the holidays.  Starting today I am going to feature an original holiday cocktail that I think would translate beautifully into any special event or wedding during this time of year so please check back often.

HOLIDAY GINGERBREAD MARTINI

ingredients

• 1-1/2  oz.  vanilla-flavored vodka
• 1-1/2  oz.  hazelnut liqueur, such as Frangelico
• 1  Tbsp.  butterscotch schnapps
• 4  oz.  ginger beer
•   a splash of  dark rum

directions

1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake together vanilla-flavored vodka, hazelnut liqueur and butterscotch schnapps. Strain into an 8-ounce glass filled with ice; add ginger beer and a splash of dark rum. Makes 1 drink
