Halloween: Signature Drinks For Your Halloween Party!

BLOODY-TINI Bloody it is not, does its look resemble a cocktail glass filled with blood, sort of but I've never seen (nor want to) such a thing. The Bloody-tini is simply a fun Halloween cocktail and would make an eerie cocktail menu alongside the likes of the Black Martini and Vampire Kiss. The acai is a tasty little fruit with healthy properties, but when paired with liquor that fact is up for debate. That said, the bit of champagne in this drink is a nice little touch of class. Ingredients: 2 oz VeeV Acai Spirit 1 oz acai juice 1/2 oz fresh lime juice Top with fresh champagne lime wedge for garnish Preparation: Combine VeeV, Acai juice and fresh lime with fresh ice in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain into a chilled martini glass and top with champagne. Serve with a fresh lime wedge.

BLACK MARTINI
This is one of the best cocktails for a Halloween party. This Black Martini replaces vermouth with either blackberry brandy or black raspberry liqueur (Chambord being a good choice). The drink will be dark, but not black-black so another option is to make a Vodka Martini with Blavod, a black colored vodka. Ingredients: 3 1/2 oz gin or vodka 1/2 oz blackberry brandy or black raspberry liqueur lemon twist for garnish Preparation: Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or serve on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

FROG IN A BLENDER
This is an interesting cocktail that is a great novelty for Halloween parties. The "Frog" is actually lime wheels that are only slightly blended with the other ingredients, creating the idea of an old witches brew with pieces and parts floating in it. Add a few berries, grapes or apple slices for the look of even more unknown creature bodies inside your brew. The trick is to avoid blending until smooth as you normally would, only enough to chop things up and mix them together a bit. Ingredients: 1 cup of ice 2 oz vodka 4 oz cranberry juice 2 lime wheels Preparation: Place all the ingredients in a blender (including the lime wheels). Blend for 3-5 seconds (ingredients will not be completely blended). Pour into a chilled hurricane glass.
