Decoding The Table
Why choose round wedding tables? There's a reason why we all love rounds (aside from the conversational benefits). Circles don't follow any rules and they mesh with any scenario. A trick: Mix up the sizes! Add more visual interest and include 60" and 72" round tables.
1. THINK IN THREES - It's easy to commit to one arrangement but why not have three? Group arrangements of similar colors and sizes in the center.
2. INVITE AN ACCENT - Too much white tends to get boring. Disperse a metalic, like gold in specific areas. Get the job done with chairs, chargers and a hint on your favors.
3. SMALL STUFF - Subtle details often make a prettier presentation and your guests will take note.
4. SHAPE UP - A round table can get a little help from other shapes. Introduce rectangles or squares to keep things from getting too dull.
5. LAYER IT - No one ever said that tables need to be done in bright colors. Bring in texture with a specialty linens such as damask or pintuck. A great ivory floral or stripe pattern can be beautiful as well.
